Transforming Grief into Potent Writing
Lynn Scott and Teresa LeYung Ryan will lead a workshop called "Transforming Grief into Potent Writing" at several venues in the Bay Area this Fall.

Book Passage: Sat, Oct 13, 2007, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Featured Class: Transforming Grief into Potent Writing
Location: Book Passage in Corte Madera, Marin County

Wouldn't we all like to transform our grief (loss of identity, purpose, innocence, a loved one) into inspiration for ourselves and others? How lucky that we as writers are able to craft stories from inside out, breathing life into our characters that touch the reader's hearts. This is a hands-on workshop to elicit the creativity waiting to emerge from the depths of pain. Participants should bring their current projects to class. Scott is the author of A Joyful Encounter: My Mother, My Alzheimer Clients, and Me. Ryan is the author of Love Made of Heart. Ryan's web site is lovemadeofheart.com.

More dates will be listed in the Book Passage Fall schedule which should be out in July. Keep check ing in on my webpage for more dates."
